Never a Dull Moment... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recap... All has been going well lately. We had a nice trip to DE and to the Ocean. The kids had fun spending time with their friends, but wished they would of had a little more time on the boardwalk itself. Steve & myself had FUN doing some outlet shopping for the kids back-to-school clothes, plus a few things for ourselves :-) We're thinking of maybe going down again in October (all depends on C's soccer schedule) for a day or two. We'll stay with some family to make it a cheap getaway. Taylor has being doing great since her seizure episodes. They did however have to cancel her MRI for today since they only had her scheduled to receive valium and there's NO WAY that would kept her down for 45 minutes inside the tube. We have to call them tomorrow about rescheduling it. Hopefully it won't take long to get another appointment. The sedation nurse that called about the MRI was kind of pi$$ed that they didn't do it while she was admitted to the hospital since it would of been so much easier. D had his 1st soccer scrimage tonight against another team in his division and even though the team looked like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off they did pretty well. They "won" 3-1 and D scored one of the goals!!! I must brag abeit about my "future" goalie since he did block 2-3 good shots and wasn't even aloud to use his hands to do so. Their division has NO goalies, so the only time they can use their hands is for throw-ins. The season starts next weekend. Courtney has a soccer tournament this weekend so that should be fun for her. She'll be happy to get back into the routine of playing every week again. Plus, playing all the time keeps her from complaining all the time of boredom. Schools only 11 days away - yippee!!! That's the day the girls go back and D also has his Kindergarten Orientation. He officially goes back on the 7th, but has his 1/2 day with the teacher and 7 other students on September 2nd. It will be so nice to have MY mornings back again - treadmill here I come!!! Well I'm going to go back to the laundry and waiting for Steve's family to get here. They said they would be here at 8pm and here it is 9:22pm and there's no sign of them. Why an I surprised? Their always late. 9:07 pm - 08/18/2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
