Never a Dull Moment... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keeping the pharmacy in business.... It'a been a long few weeks, once the Roseola went away Aidan started back up with his episodes of "infantile spasms or seizures", so we rushed him back into the ER, which then turned into numerous trips to Walter Reed to be seen by various Neurological Specialist. As of today he's taking B-6 tablets 2x a day for the next 3 days and then he'll start his anti-convulsion medicine for however long it is needed. He also has to be seen by an ENT since we found out a week or so ago that he has a ton of fluid built up in his right ear causing him to not be able to hear at all in that ear. The Neuro;ogist also has him seeing a Opthalmologist to make sure his vision is ok because he noticed him squinting alot. For only being a few days shy of 18 months old my little guy has been through alot. Now onto Miss Taylor - her medicine seemed to be working well, but then we started noticing small movements that weren't normal, so yesterday the doctor upped her doseage and this morning she woke up like a NEW person. Normally she has very rough mornings - she wakes up with her legs very stiff, arms are stiff to a degree and she tends to makes some unusual facial expressions, but none of that occured this morning which is a really positive thing for us. So what's been going on in our everyday life? Not the stuff above isn't everyday because it is, but around here we've been working MORE on the house, Dylan finished up soccer, Courtney is getting ready to start her indoor soccer season and we've almost got a wooden fence up outside. It's going to be nice once life slows down some for us. 12:26 pm - 10/27/2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
