Never a Dull Moment... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Errands, pi$$y neighbors and my little guy Not awhole lot going on around here as of late. We got some snow last night which got the girls a 2hr late start to school and Dylan a day off. Aidan hasn't been up to par lately so we stayed home today. I got a few loads of laundry done, some stuff put away that's been sitting out for WAY TOO long and actually relaxed a bit. Tonight we have some errands to run - Commissary, Exchange and probably Target. Onto a funny story - we've managed to pi$$ our neighbors off and that's always a FUN thing to do :-). Well as I've talked about before Steve started installing a NEW privacy fence at the end of summer (we had a garage to remove and an old chainlink fence to take down first)so the process of putting up a new fence has taken some time. We started on the other side of the yard since it was the easiest and made it around the back and then things got in the way (Soccer, Steve's work schedule, etc...)and we had to stop for a few months. Well Steve started back on it last weekend and now has all but 2 panels up. The "neighbor" decides that it's time to start bitching again and tells Steve that she doesn't like the oak cedar tone stain and would PREFER "her" side of the fence to stay it's natural color. I'm not sure when ANY of OUR fence was HERS, but Steve just laughed at her (that really pi$$ed her off) and said that ALL the fence was going to be the color WE choose and that she would just have to live with it. If she keeps complaining I'm tempted to go a buy 4 or 5 different color stains and stripe the fence - I don't have to look at it right ;-) I think it kills her that when we do project around the house we can't have them done as quick as she can, but she doesn't have 4 kids, 11 years and under. Her 2 girls are 19 and 16 years old. Next comment she makes I'm going to literally tell her where she can go. I think we've come to the conclusion that we're ready for Aidan to start the Ketogenic diet as soon as possible. The meds don't seem to be doing what they need to be doing so we need to move onto the next step in this lengthy process. Last week when Aidan had the tummy bug it seems that he lost some weight and now he's back BELOW the 5th% which isn't a good thing. Maybe this Ketogenic Diet will actually help Aidan gain weight. 4:41 pm - 12/06/2005 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
