Never a Dull Moment... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back.... Well we're back, we got back Wednesday afternoon and that's because everything went EXCELLENT. It seems that by us cutting Aidan's carbs/sugars drasticially the week prior to him being admitted it made him already be ketonic when we arrived. The doctors were totally shocked. Aidan was able to eat his 1st KETO meal that evening which normally doesn't happen until late in day 2 or beginning of day 3 for most kids. Even Aidan's latest EEG came back totally normal, which also shocked the doctors. I'm beginning to wonder if my little guy is just allergic to carbs :-) So far he's been handling everything really well and has remained seizure-free. We're even able to see a change in him developmentally too - he's much more entergetic and even trying to take some steps on his own.
