Never a Dull Moment... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Awesome and NO need for tubes.... Aidan is still doing AWESOME, but after his appointment today with the ENT they decided that he no longger needs tubes for his ears. They do want him to have a sedated ABR (can't remember exactly what that stands for) to see if the hearing that goes from the cochlea to the brain is working correctly. There wondering because when they did the voice test Aidan NEVER turned his head toward the ladies voice. So she said it's better to get the test done and go from there. If it's not one thing it's always something else. It could be that it wasn't receiving impulses coreectly while Aidan was having seizures but now that the seizures are gone he's receiving the impulses the way he should. Now onto a VENT.... My husband is a royal pain in the A$$ today. He got to the hospital just in time to get Taylor so that I could sit with Aidan for his audiology test. That's not the problem, the problem is as soon as he gets home it's off to that computer room to play poker. He's been playing for 2 hours now and can't seem to help with anything. Aidan decided that while I sent a quick one line email to the little girl I watch Mom he would dump his whole container of green beans all over him. When I yelled for help, he ran down just long enough to smile and comment on how Aidan thought it was funny and back to the damn poker game he went. He couldn't even get me some rags to clean him up with. We'll see if he wonders where dinner is when the kids all start to get hungry because I'm NOT fixing it tonight. I have Aidan's meals all planned out and fixed so I know he'll eat, but he can deal with the others when they get cranky and hungry. Plus, tonight Courtney has soccer and he KNOWS that we're extremely busy around here from the time the kids get home form school until it's time to leave at 5pm and he's done NOTHING. We'll see how busy I am when he's ready for US to go to bed tonight. Well I gotta run.
