Never a Dull Moment... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shoot me, please? Somebody take Cupid's arrow and shoot me now and put me out of my misery, please? It seems that having one sick kid since Thursday wasn't enough, now the other 2 that I thought were going to get by with just alittle something are now feeling like crap with a capital C. Taylor went to school to only come home 1 1/2 hours later with a 102.5 temp and Dylan is complaining that his whole head and chest hurt. The chest thing could be from when Courtney knocked the wind out of him during one of their hitting/punching fights in the car on Sunday afternoon. It literally took him over an hour to stop heavy breathing and crying because it hurt so much. I'm thinking tomorrow morning is going to be spent at the clinic on base getting 2 kids checked out. So far Aidan is still healthy and we even got some good news concerning his meds, the doctor argeed with me about lowering his dosage. So we're now down to only a 1/2 a pill 2x a day, so only 250mg per day - WAHOO!!!! I've been on the phone most of the morning trying to get his Orthotics apptointment made so that he can get the AFO's he needs so that he can walk. He's so close and I think that the braces will make a world of difference. He goes on the 1st to be fitted for hearing aides incase the appointment (the sedated ABR/ASSR)on the 13th shows hearing loss they'll already have them. I'm thinking the Audiologist MUST know something because WHY would you pre-order hearing aides BEFORE doing the sedated test??? It's always something with my little guy. Good thing he's such a trooper. I'm also trying to get an EEG done on 1st since we'll already be over there - ONE less trip to Walter Reed makes me happy :-)We've been there once every 2 weeks on average since the beginning of December.
